Pithadhipati Suyatindra Tirtha has conduted Ksheerabhishekam and Panchamrutabhishekam to the presiding deity after conducting special worship. The processional deity was taken out a golden palanquin along with the Suvarna Navaratna Ratham (the golden chariot with nine precious stones) in a procession amidst Vedic hymns.The presiding deity was presented with thousand litres of milk and a wide variety of fruits. Thousands of devotees have stood in serpentine queues for hours together to have a glimpse of the presiding deity.
