Madhyaradhana for Raghavendra Swamy performed

Mantralayam (Kurnool): The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam presented silk robes and prasadam to Sri Raghavendra Swamy here on Thursday as part of the Madhyaradhana to the presiding deity in connection with the 342nd Sapta Ratrotsavam (The Seven Night Celebrations).

Pithadhipati Suyatindra Tirtha has conduted Ksheerabhishekam and Panchamrutabhishekam to the presiding deity after conducting special worship. The processional deity was taken out a golden palanquin along with the Suvarna Navaratna Ratham (the golden chariot with nine precious stones) in a procession amidst Vedic hymns.The presiding deity was presented with thousand litres of milk and a wide variety of fruits. Thousands of devotees have stood in serpentine queues for hours together to have a glimpse of the presiding deity.
