A 13-year-old was allegedly gang-raped by three people eight months ago in Peddapalli of erstwhile Karimnagar district. The incident came to light after the victim delivered a baby and lodged a complaint on the accused.
According to the police, the trio identified as Satish, Vaikuntam and Ranjit -- raped the girl of the same village and threatened to kill her if she revealed the matter. However, the girl narrated her ordeal to parents who had not disclosed to anyone fearing of girl's safety.
Four days ago, the girl was taken to a hospital after she complained of severe stomach ache where she delivered a baby. Based on the complaint registered by the girl, the police are investigating the matter.
