According to the charge sheet, one of Vidhie's messages to Sheena said, "Umm Sheena it should stay between us 2 only...u and Rahul should be careful cos Mama is getting 'worried' about u 2 so I'am just warniing you guys...anything might come across...pls don't say anything because I will be actually be dead...if not dead Mama do something sooooo bad...trust me I really need your consent this...Mama says...she does not break up the relationship she wants to get someone out of the way.... Please reply back XXX."(Sic).
Fear of Sheena inheriting the entire property in the event of Sheena's marriage to Rahul, son of Indrani's husband Peter Mukerjea, was the main motive behind the murder, the charge sheet says.
The CBI yesterday filed the chargesheet against Ms Mukerjea, Sanjeev Khanna and her former driver Shyamvar Rai for the murder of Sheena, her daughter from an earlier marriage, in April 2012.
Indrani's husband Peter Mukerjea, the media tycoon, was also arrested yesterday in connection with the case.
The investigating agency is also probing the possible financial motive behind the murder.
Sheena had allegedly demanded a flat in Mumbai and blackmailed Indrani with threats to expose that she was her daughter - and not younger sister as she had claimed to the world.
The CBI has reportedly seized these documents from Rahul Mukerjea, who was engaged to Sheena when she was murdered.
Investigators say Indrani's ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna got involved in the plan because with Sheena out of the way, all the property would go to Vidhie, his daughter with Indrani.
