Hyderabad: The recruitments to various posts through the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) may not happen in near future. TSPSC chairman Prof Ganta Chakrapani on Monday gave clear indications that the recruitment process might take longer than expected due to procedural delays. The actual recruitment process would begin only after the completion of bifurcation of Public Service Commission, which might take three to four months.

Further, all recruitments would be done on the basis of new syllabus. The Commission has already appointed an expert committee to revise the test syllabus. The committee is expected to complete the task within a month, he said.“The framework and guidelines for the recruitment process too needs to get the nod of the State government. The Commission is on the job of framing the draft framework and guidelines which are likely to be sent to the State government by this month end. Once approved, the State Government will issue a GO directing the Commission to begin the recruitment process,” the TSPSC chief added.

Further, it would be the responsibility of the State government to identify vacancies in various departments. The government would also decide the phases through which it proposes to recruit employees for different departments and categories. Based on government’s suggestion, the TSPSC would take up the recruitment process. As of now, the Commission has no information on the existing vacancies in the State, Prof Chakrapani said.
