Arrangements for Bonalu
The Akkanna Madanna Mahankali Mandiram Committee made all arrangements for the successful conduct of Bonalu festival on Sunday. The day will begin with Mahabhishekam and Maha Aarathi at 5 am and temple will be opened for devotees after decorating the deity at 8 am.
Hyderabad: The Akkanna Madanna Mahankali Mandiram Committee made all arrangements for the successful conduct of Bonalu festival on Sunday. The day will begin with Mahabhishekam and Maha Aarathi at 5 am and temple will be opened for devotees after decorating the deity at 8 am.
Devotees from twin cities and surrounding districts will visit the temple seeking the blessings of Goddess till the late night. Former Governor K Rosaih, DGP Anurag Sharma, PV Sindhu, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, K Jana Reddy, Ministers Nayini Narasimha Reddy, Indrakaran Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, T Padma Rao , Speaker Madhusudhana Chary, Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy, Council Chairman T Swamy Goud, J Geeta Reddy, Marri Shashidhar Reddy and MP Rapolu Ananda Bhaskar will participate.
The main Bonalu procession will start at 4 pm at Sri Akkanna Madanna Mahankali Mandiram with Matha Ghatam on well decorated elephant.
