Villagers collect deposit money for rich TRS candidate
The villagers of Proddutur of Valigonda mandal in the district collected Rs 10,116 as donations and handed over the same to former Bhongir MLA P Shekar Reddy to use it as a deposit while filing his nomination as a TRS MLA candidate from Bhongir in the upcoming elections
Valigonda ( Yadadri- Bhongir): The villagers of Proddutur of Valigonda mandal in the district collected Rs 10,116 as donations and handed over the same to former Bhongir MLA P Shekar Reddy to use it as a deposit while filing his nomination as a TRS MLA candidate from Bhongir in the upcoming elections.
When asked about their move, the villagers said that Shekar Reddy is an honest politician and contributed valuable services to the constituency by spending personnel amounts besides the government funds. Therefore, majority of the villagers came forward and gave Rs 10,116 nomination deposit to him. P Shekar Reddy, who is one the top 20 richest politicians in the country, thanked the villagers over their overwhelming affection towards him.
