Musheerabad: Chairman for Telangana State Police Housing Board Corporation Damodar Gupta thanked caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Tuesday for including a pledge of establishing a separate corporation for Arya Vaisyas in the election manifesto of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).
Gupta, along with other leaders of arya vaishya, expressed their happiness by performing a milk bath to a portrait of KCR’s at RTC X Roads. On the occasion, Gupta said that TRS has been giving equal preference to all the sections of society.
It is only possible for a leader like Rao, who is trying to develop arya vaisyas, along with schedule castes, backward castes and schedule tribes, he said. He also appealed his caste men to vote for TRS in the upcoming elections. M Gopal, TRS state BC cell president, youth leader jaisimha, Gandhi Nagar corporator M Padma, M Prabhakar, Rakesh, Naveen and other TRS leaders were present on the occasion.
