109 gamblers held in Kamareddy; `6.49 lakh recovered
Gamblers nabbed at an MPP’s residence in Jukkal on Saturday night
At least 109 people were arrested on Saturday late night during various raids by the task force personnel in Jukkal Assembly constituency. They seized Rs 6,49,180 and playing cards from the gamblers.

Amid rumours of poker game going on rampant in Jukkal constituency, Kamareddy Special Task Force SI Krishna along with his team has been searing for the gamblers for the past four days.
Acting over a tip-off, the task force officials nabbed eight persons, who were gambling, during a raid on MPP house at Bichukunda mandal headquarters. Police have seized Rs 1,06,710 and playing cards from the house.
The special task force team conducted raids in Dannur in Madnur mandal, Bichkunda mandal, Peddakodapagal, Pitlam and Mangalore villages in Nizamsagar mandal and six other places.
A total of Rs 6,49,180 cash was seized and 109 persons were arrested for playing poker.
The arrested were handed over to SP Swetha Reddy for further action.
