Customs Airport Intelligence Unit Officials on Sunday seized 2.3 kg of smuggled gold at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad. The officials caught a passenger who was travelling in Indigo flight from Sharjah to Hyderabad and found that he was smuggling the gold. The smuggler tried to smuggle the gold by concealing it in car engine parts. By registering a case the officials are investigating.
