Transport Minister reviews development works in Kothagudem
Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar chaired a review meeting with district officers at District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) here at Kothagudem on Monday.
Kothagudem: Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar chaired a review meeting with district officers at District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) here at Kothagudem on Monday. Addressing the meeting, the Minister directed the officials to ensure that the farmers do not face any trouble at the procurement centres. He asked them to make all necessary arrangements at the procurement centres in the district and have enough supply of gunny bags in all centres.
He reviewed the Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bheema and 30 days actions plan works in the district. He said the 30 days action plan works in the district were carried out in a good manner and stated that the faces of villages changed. He directed the officials to continue the work with same team spirit.
He reviewed the progress of Mission Bhagiratha works and other ongoing development works in the district. He asked the officers to conduct awareness camps in the district on effects of plastic on environment and ensure that the district is plastic free soon.
Zilla Parishad Chairman K Kanakaiah, Government whip Pinapaka, MLA Rega Kantha Rao, MLAs Vanama Venkateswara Rao, Hari Priya, District Collector Rajnath Kumar Saini, Joint Collector K Venkateswaralu, and DRDA Project Director P Jagath Kumar Reddy and other department officers attended the meeting.
