Two Inter students attempt suicide
Soon after the release of Intermediate results on Thursday evening, two intermediate girls from Wanaparthy district after coming to know that they have failed in the exams tried to end their lives.
Wanaparthy: Soon after the release of Intermediate results on Thursday evening, two intermediate girls from Wanaparthy district after coming to know that they have failed in the exams tried to end their lives.
According to sources, Gundu Mouni Maheshwari of Kasim Nagar Colony in Wanaparthy, who failed in the intermediate second year exams, went into depression and doused herself with kerosene and lit herself on fire. The poor girl was burnt severely and was shifted to government hospital. The doctors treating her said she received 90 per cent burns and her survival changes are slim.
In an another incident, Shirisha (18) of Dattayapally village who was also depressed after she failed in four subjects in the Inter exams consumed nail paint and tried to commit suicide However, the parents of the girl immediately shifted her to the hospital and her condition is said to be stable.
