Kadapa: While describing TDP' rule as golden era in state, party district president R Srinivasulu Reddy has urged the party activists to strive hard to bring back the party to power in the state

Addressing a press conference in Rayachoti on the occasion of 97th birth anniversary of NTR on Thursday, he recalled that NTR had launched several irrigation projects like Telugu Ganga, Galeru Nagari Sujala Sravanthi and Handrineeva Sujala Sravanthi for the development of agriculture in Rayalaseema region in a big way.

He also said that NTR was responsible for establishing Rayalaseema Thermal Power Project (RTPP) in the district.

After Chandrababu Naidu coming to power, he had completed 90 per cent of the pending works in the region, Srinivasulu Reddy said.

He alleged that YSR Congress party completely failed in addressing the problems of the people, instead it is terrorising the people when they question the misdeeds of the ruling party.

He said that YSRCP government has abolished about 34 welfare schemes introduced by TDP in the past and cancelled 40 percent of ration cards due to political reasons.
