Rs.6 lakhs worth sheep and goats died due to striking of thunder lightning
As many as 60 sheep and goats died due to striking of thunder light. This incident took place at Bommala Suduru Konda located near Racharla village in Peauply Mandal on the intervening morning of Wednesday.

According to information, the shepherds, Veerabhadrudu and Veeraiah residents of Boina Cheepuru Palli village in the same Mandal have taken their livestock to Bommala Suduru Konda for grazing on Tuesday.
As they could not return to their village in the evening have pitched a tent at the same place. The sheep and goats were also protected by putting the fence.
Initially, the rains started showering slowly and in no time the atmosphere changed violently with rains mixed with thunders and lightning striking the Mandal.
With the striking of thunder lightning as many as 60 sheep and goats met with unfortunate death. Around Rs. 6 lakh worth livestock has died in the unexpected incident, stated the shepherds. They urged the government to compensate for the loss.
