Vijayawada: DGP D Gautam Sawang and other police officers paid rich tributes to 20 martyrs, who sacrificed their lives during the face-off with Chinese at Galwan Valley on June 15.
Gautam Sawang, ADG Harish Kumar Gupta, ADG Ravi Sankar Ayyannar, DG Dwaraka Tirumala Rao and other officials paid floral tributes to martyrs at the State police office in Mangalagiri.
Speaking on the occasion, Sawang said the nation always remembers the sacrifices of brave soldiers, who sacrificed their lives to protect the integrity and sovereignty of the nation. He expressed deep condolences to the kin of soldiers on behalf of the police of Andhra Pradesh.
