Breaking News: Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor And Raj Mehta Of 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo' Team Get Tested Positive For Covid-19

The whole team of Bollywood's upcoming movie 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo' happily flew to Chandigarh a few days back to resume the shooting of their flick. But according to the sources, the main cast of the team Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and director Raj Mehta have tested positive for deadly Covid-19. Thus, the shooting has been halted and even other members of the movie are also awaiting for their Coronavirus results.

There were also rumours that Anil Kapoor and a few other members of this movie were tested positive but this is only a rumour, Anil Kapoor is fine and is also tested negative. Even Anil Kapoor's brother Boney Kapoor confirmed the news to the media.

According to a source close to the production team, "There is some confusion because of some of the stories being published. Anil Kapoor has NOT tested positive for Covid 19. He received a negative result and is flying back right now. Kiara Advani too tested negative for the virus but it's not clear if she is also flying out right now. Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor have tested positive and are currently in quarantine."

Well, Anil Kapoor also reacted to the reports through his Twitter page and thanked fans for their concern and good wishes.

Through this tweet, Anil Kapoor confirmed that he is tested negative for Covid-19… He wrote, "In the interest of putting any rumours to rest, I have tested negative for COVID-19. Thank you all for your concern and good wishes".

A few days ago, Neetu Kapoor who made her come back to big screens after seven years flew to Chandigarh along with Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Ali Advani and a few other team members. Later they were joined by Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli. Now all the team members have undergone the Covid-19 test and a few people are awaiting for their results.
