Shamshabad: The immigration officials at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad intercepted two including a woman for possessing fake identity cards and trying to travel to New Delhi on fake tickets. The accused were identified as Doulsab (41) and Lakshmi (23), both natives of Karnataka State.

According to police, the duo decided to tour Delhi and visit Taj Mahal. On Friday at 9:10 pm, the accused persons came to RGI Airport for taking Indigo Flight 6E-766 to Delhi, when their identity cards were checked at entry point it was found fake by the immigration authorities. Officials found that the accused persons tried to travel on other's ticket and identity card. On receipt of the complaint, RGIA police registered a case and accused were sent to judicial remand.
