MLA assures farmers of water to all lands
MLA Bandaru Madhava Naidu, has assured the farmers that the Government will supply water to every acre of land in the constituency.
Narsapuram: MLA Bandaru Madhava Naidu, has assured the farmers that the Government will supply water to every acre of land in the constituency.
He toured in Narsapur rural mandal on Friday along with irrigation officials. He interacted with the farmers on the occasion. He visited the Seshavataram Canal, Ramannapalem Chanel in the mandal and inspected the LB Cherla, Modi, Turpu Tallu villages to study situation of the water supply.
The MLA said that the water would be supplied for another two days in the present rotation system. He asked the officials to increase water levels in the irrigation channels. He requested the farmers who received water to cooperate with the officials to supply water to other farmers also.
Delta Project Committee chairman Potturi Ramaraju, Water Users Association president Katakamsetty Peddiraju, irrigation EE Srinivasa Rao, DEE Ch Venkata Narayana, AE P Satyanarayana and others participated in the tour.
