Hyderabad: To counter the efforts against bifurcation of State by anti – Telangana forces, TRS on Thursday decided to forward a report to the GoM.

Party president K Chandrasekhara Rao held a meeting with party leaders here and discussed the issues ranging from submission of the report to GoM to poll alignment with Congress as well as strengthening of the party before the General Elections.

Sources said that the party would mail a detailed report to the GoM on the necessity, the division of the state and the injustice meted out to T region in the areas of education, employment, irrigation and allocations for the development of the region since Telangana merged with Andhra in 1956.

In the report, the party will also explain the status of Hyderabad in the divided State. TRS has been opposing demands to make Hyderabad a Union Territory (UT) or permanent common capital for both states.

Sources said the party would also demand that the Congress introduce Telangana Bill in Parliament in Winter Session without any delay. If it fails to take the bill, the TRS will chalk out its action plan on how to get the T- Bill approved before the 2014 election.

The TRS leaders felt in the meeting that the SC, ST Sub- Plans should be implemented in the separate Telangana in true spirit. As part of strengthening the party, KCR asked the party leaders to prepare a schedule to conduct training classes for youth and students in the last week of November.

Party leaders said that all the afore-mentioned issues would be discussed in detail at the state executive to be held at party headquarters on Friday.
