Anantapur: Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy on Friday instructed officials extend the benefits of welfare scheme to all eligible persons.

Addressing a meeting of the mandal officials of Nallamada, Amadanooru and Odisi mandals at Kadiri R & B guest house, he stated that the government was according priority to the people’s welfare schemes despite financial problems. ‘Serving the needy brings high level of satisfaction’, he noted.

The Minister asked officials to sanction ration cards and Deepam gas connections to those who did not have these facilities. He laid stress on the construction of individual latrines and according top priority to supply of drinking water.

Palle assured that any number of check dams would be sanctioned. He advised officials to work honestly with commitment so that the benefit of welfare schemes reach the poor and the needy. He called for tree plantation in all educational institutions, government offices and police stations. Among those present were RDO Rajasekhar, many MDOs and Tahsildars.
