Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Murru Mutyala Naidu asked the students to prove themselves in national-level competitions.
Inaugurating the inter- college 10km marathon for men and women-2018 at Rajanagaram here on Saturday, the Vice-Chancellor said the students selected in this event will be sent to national-level class country men and women event scheduled to be held in Gulbarga in Karnataka state.
The university is giving priority for games and sports, along with education, and advised the students to spare some time for sports and games every day, which increases competitive spirit.
As many as 52 male and 46 female students of university affiliated colleges participated in the event.
The 10km event was conducted from Rajanagaram to Kanavaram village.Programme coordinator K Subba Rao and others were present.
