The farmers of SEZ Vyatireka Porata Committee SEZVPC, in association with friendly organisations, will stage massive dharna at GMR office on October 11, to stake their claim for return of the lands acquired forcefully from them in 2005
Kothapalli: The farmers of SEZ Vyatireka Porata Committee (SEZVPC), in association with friendly organisations, will stage massive dharna at GMR office on October 11, to stake their claim for return of the lands acquired forcefully from them in 2005.
At a meeting organised at Ravivaripodu of Uppada Kothapalli mandal on Wednesday evening, the farmers decided to agitate for return of their lands as they have been kept idle since the year of acquisition, 2005.
The Porata Committee convener, Chinta Suryanarayana Murthy presided over the meet.
Farmers from Ramanankka Peta, Moola Peta, Ramaraghavapuram and Ravivaripodu attended the meet.
The representatives of various organisations Duvva Seshu Babji, KS Srinivas, Simhachalam, B Narayana Reddy and others participated.
