Naidu condoles death of Justice Punnaiah

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu expressed grief over the death of Justice Punnaiah. They said that the late Punnaiah worked for upliftment of SCs and STs. Chief Minister recalled that he had instituted a commission in 2001 headed by Punnaiah for the welfare of SCs and STs and Punnaiah gave valuable suggestions through reports of his commission.

Justice Punnaiah forwarded several recommendations against casteism. The funds are being allocated to SCs and STs as per the recommendations of Justice Punnaiah , the Chief Minister averred. Chandrababu Naidu further said that the demise of Justice Punnaiah is great loss not only to the State but also to the country. Minister for Finance Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said that Justice Punnaiah strove for development of Srikakulam district. He expressed condolences to the family members of Justice Punnaiah.
