BHEL signs deal with Korean firm
Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has entered into a Technology Collaboration Agreement (TCA) with NANO Co. Ltd., Republic of Korea for design and manufacture of SCR Catalysts for De-NOx application in Coal fired power plants, to be commissioned or retrofitted with high capacity emission control equipment.
Hyderabad: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has entered into a Technology Collaboration Agreement (TCA) with NANO Co. Ltd., Republic of Korea for design and manufacture of SCR Catalysts for De-NOx application in Coal fired power plants, to be commissioned or retrofitted with high capacity emission control equipment.
To comply with the norms of SOx and NOx emission, issued by the Ministry of Environment and Forest (MoEF) for thermal power plants, BHEL is geared up to provide complete, state-of-the-art solutions by offering suitable flue gas clean-up and emission control systems.
This agreement will enable BHEL to enhance its offerings for emission control systems (De-NOx applications) and covers state-of-the-art technology for designing, engineering and manufacturing of SCR Catalysts.
