Before and after enactment of laws and introducing bills in parliament, the elected representatives should take the opinions people of their respective constituencies, he added. Once the people at the local level realise about the laws and their advantages, the implementation would be effective and acceptance would also be at significant level, he said. There should not be any corruption, while implementing the laws and welfare schemes at the ground level so that the people at the local level will get justice and fruits of such schemes would reach them, he explained. He reviewed 'Swaraj', a book penned by 'Aam Admi Party' founder Arvind Kejriwa, here at Arts College Auditorium on Friday and suggested to the students to fight against corruption at all levels and to create awareness among the common man to fight against corruption. Rector, SVU, Prof. MAK Sukumar, who was the chief guest, said that this book is nothing but a handbook to many who are fighting against corruption. Similarly, many can draw inspiration from Arvind Kejriwal as he had written about his experiences in the book. He suggested to the students to read this book at least once for getting knowledge to fight against corruption. Student leader Ranjith said that many elected leaders have become defaulters due to evasion of taxes which is unfortunate in the society.
