ministerTirupati: The district in-charge Minister K Parthasarathi held a review meeting with officials of various departments at Tahasildar office in Karvetinagaram on Wednesday and appealed to make the scheduled 'Indiramma Kalalu' programme a grand success. He enquired with the officials of departments concerned, District Collector Solomon Arokia Raj and GD Nellore legislator Dr G Kuthuhalamma about the ongoing arrangements. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that for the first time the State government has brought a sub-plan act for the benefit of SCs and STs and lot of awareness should be created among the public. He instructed the officials to mobilise SC and ST community people for 'Indiramma Kalalu' programme, scheduled in Karvetinagaram on April 14. He told the officials to make arrangements for a huge crowd as they are expecting at least 60,000 people to attend the programme. GD Nellore legislator Dr G Kuthuhalamma said that she is fortunate to have the opportunity to attend the 'Indiramma Kalalu' programme, which was scheduled on the birth anniversary of architect of Indian Constitution Dr BR Ambedkar. Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will interact with SCs and STs of Karvetinagaram on this occasion, she said. District Collector Solomon Arokia Raj, Joint Collector Vinay Chand, Additional Joint Collector Venkata Subba Reddy, Project directors Chandramouli and Anil Kumar Reddy and officials of various departments took part in the review meeting.
