Testing new waters

Recently seen in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘365 Days’, actor Nandhoo is on a signing spree of late. The actor, who has commenced shooting for his Kannada debut ‘Madhuvana’, is also set to make his Hindi debut with Kannada producer Angi Nagaraju.

Talking about the Hindi project, he says, “The producer liked my work in ‘365 Days’ before approaching me. I’m playing a well read guy who wants to get into an investigative agency. The role has its shades of grey. The film will be shot in Mauritius.”

Nandhoo is extremely confident about his Kannada debut. It is being directed by Sharanya who assisted Kannada cinema’s ace director Giriraj. “It is a romantic comedy and I’m planning to remake it in Telugu,” he says.

In Telugu, his mother tongue, the actor is awaiting the release of ‘Best Actors’. “It is a role which I dreamt of essaying after becoming an actor. People who watch the film will feel that I can make a good commercial hero. I can say it’s my best bet till now.”
