Post Baahubali that garnered immense box office success even in Bollywood, another movie, Puli from the Southern film industry is being seen as a scintillating successor. Vijay’s Puli will be competing with Prabhu Deva’s Akshay Kumar-starrer Singh Is Bling.
Puli, another mythological epic is coming out to confront Prabhu Deva’s Singh Is Bling and Meghna Gulzar’s thriller Talvar. While Puli releases a day prior to both the Hindi movies, the fantasy-adventure, is expected to repeat the success of blockbuster Baahubali.
Puli’s producer Pahlaj Nihalani expressed confidence on the movie scoring all-India success and also revealed that the Hindi and Telugu versions along with the Tamil version will release on October 1.
Pahlaj Nihalani had Nihalani closed the deal for all-India distribution rights at a massive price last week. With Gandhi Jayanti looking crowded at the movies, it will be interesting the records Puli will rake in with competition from Akshay Kumar’s movie.
