Kacheguda man hangs himself to death inside mosque in Falaknuma

A 55-year-old man, Syed Azam Ali hanged himself at a mosque in the Falaknuma area on Tuesday. Police informed that the man was found hanging from a gate on the premises of Masjid-e-Rehmat-e-Quba in Jahanuma and was found by the mosque’s in-charge who came to open the doors for the afternoon Zohar prayers.

Police revealed that Ali had left home three years ago and was living in the mosque doing voluntary service. He lived on the alms of the people visiting the mosque but never went home. While the body was handed over to his family after postmortem, a case of suspicious death was registered based on the complaint made by Ali’s son Ashfaq Ali as the family is also clueless for the reason behind his suicide.
