Protect Forests Using Technology, Says Environment Minister. Speaking to the media after visiting Telangana State Forest Academy here on Friday, he informed that an interaction will be conducted with the walkers at the KBR Park on Saturday morning. “This kind of interactions will be continued as the public opinion is crucial in making the greenery in cities”, he said.

The minister expressed happiness over the maintainence of arboretum at the forest academy. Nearly 800- different verities of plants are available here. He said that with the steps taken by his ministry, the tigers’ population has increased.

During the interaction with the officer trains at the academy, he said that there is a need to change in the existing forest acts. When the forest officers maintain good relations with the surrounding population of the frosts, naturally its protection will be easy, he said.
