Rich tributes paid to Ambedkar
Jagtial: MLA Jeevan Reddy paid floral tributes to Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar here on Tuesday on the occasion of his 60th death anniversary. Speaking on the occasion, he said the integrity and unity existing in the country is only because of the Constitution written by Ambedkar.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the integrity and unity existing in the country is only because of the Constitution written by Ambedkar.
During his days only, Ambedkar observed it would be easy to rule with smaller districts and suggested to bring Acts accordingly.
It would be a real tribute to Ambedkar only when full-fledged reservations are available to weaker sections belonging to Backward and Scheduled Castes, he added.
Garlanding to the statue of Ambedkar, Collector Dr A Sharath said both State and Central governments had introduced and implementing welfare schemes taking Ambedkar as an inspiration to uplift weaker sections in the country.
ZP Chairperson Samala Pavani, ZPTCs and MPPs were present along with others.
