Youngsters taking selfies or posing for a photo while dangerously standing on the edge of Hussain Sagar is a common sight. The risky selfie taking adventure is replicated everyday by tourists and visitors who lean towards the lake at broken barricades.
Hyderabad: Youngsters taking selfies or posing for a photo while dangerously standing on the edge of Hussain Sagar is a common sight. The risky selfie taking adventure is replicated everyday by tourists and visitors who lean towards the lake at broken barricades.
Ironically, many barricades installed around the lake are broken giving a free run to people to go up to the edge of the lake. A little slip here can cost a life and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is turning a blind eye towards the issue. Hundreds of people visit lake everyday and most of them stand near these broken spots to click pictures. A vendor at the lake, Akhil Kumar said, “Some people even resort to acrobatics while taking photos risking their lives.”
