Two farmers commit suicide in Karimnagar

Karimnagar: Two farmers of Jagtial mandal who were in financial crisis committed suicide by consuming pesticide in the district on Thursday. Nagaiah (40), resident of Chelgal village of Jagtial mandal, expecting higher yields of crop invested money by taking loans from private persons. But dashing his hopes, the yield was very low due to unfavourable weather conditions. He went into depression and committed suicide by consuming pesticide. Beti Sudhakar Reddy (40), resident of Balapalli village of Jagtial mandal, unable to bear the debt burden committed suicide by consuming pesticide at his field.
