Hyderabad: Senior BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy is all set to take on the TRS government by launching ‘Bachao Telangana Mission’, a non political independent organization on Wednesday.According to sources close to Nagam, the BJP leader wants to go aggressive against the failures of the TRS government and create a political space.

His close associates say that the BJP had failed to utilize his services and political experience ever since he merged his Telangana Nagara Samithi with the BJP. Nagam is reportedly unhappy over the treatment he has been getting from the state BJP leaders and had expressed anguish that the state unit had surrendered to the TRS.

He feels that even while the Congress was trying to regain the lost ground and go aggressive on various issues, the BJP was doing nothing to emerge as a force to be reckoned with in the new state. He reportedly told his close associates that he cannot remain a mute spectator and would expose the omissions and commissions of the TRS government.

He is learnt to have remarked that the BJP was at liberty to take any action it likes against him and he was ready to face any eventuality. When contacted, the BJP came out with a guarded reaction. General secretary of Telangana unit of the BJP G Parmender Reddy felt that Nagam’s action was not against the party line.

He is a senior party leader and the state BJP leadership is also talking to him on this issue.Evading a direct reply to Nagam’s accusations that the BJP was not actively opposing anti-people policies of the TRS government, as done by the Congress, he said that saffron party would not fight just for the heck of it.

“We are a democratic party. Plans are being drawn on how to corner TRS government on various issues. It will be there for everyone to see in the coming weeks,” he said.
