TDP MPs stage a walkout at meet with SCR General Manager

Led by JC Diwakar Reddy, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MPs staged a walkout on Thursday from the meeting with the South Central Railway (SCR) general manager Ravindra Gupta and railway officials at Rail Nilayam.

The TDP MPS protested that the General Manager's indifferent attitude towards sanctioning projects to AP led them to walkout of the meeting. While the GM denied to take up certain projects due to the lack of funds and suggested referring new projects to the Centre, the MPs said that there has been no progress made with the pending projects.
