Visakhapatnam: “As long as Andhra Pradesh remains united, we would never mind even if KCR is made the Prime Minister of India,” observed Ashok Babu, the state president of Andhra Pradesh NGOs Association.
He was addressing a gathering of members of all striking organizations, including student JACs, employees of RTC, Revenue, Commercial Taxes Departments and the Municipal Corporation here on Wednesday at the Swarna Bharati Municipal Indoor Stadium.
Commenting on the view that employees were not justified in taking part in the agitation without first resigning from their posts, he said that the employees were not striking work for personal gains or perks. It was unfortunate that the Centre had not responded even though the Samaikyandhra agitation was in a full swing across Seemandhra.
