Minister Harish Rao visits adopted village

Gajwel: Minister Harish Rao visited Koluguru, the village he adopted, on Thursday. Villagers welcomed him with drumbeats and Bathukammas. He unveiled the statue of Chakali Ilamma, installed by the Rajaka Association.

He launched several development works, as part of the 30-day action plan in the village. He toured the village and interacted with the residents. Later, while addressing a public gathering, he said that clean and green would assure health and village could be transformed.

He sanctioned Rs 50 lakh additional funds for the construction of CC roads and function hall in the village. The minister directed the RDO to resolve issues related to lands. He mingled with the villagers and told them about the works to be taken up for the development of the village.
