Nirmal: Police should be answerable to the people, stated Superintendent of Police C Shashidhar Raju during a grievance cell programme at district police office in Nirmal on Monday. On the occasion, Shashidhar Raju received grievances from petitioners, who came from different areas of the district and immediately discussed the problems with the police station officers.
Speaking on the occasion, the SP told the police officers to respond immediately to the petitioner's problems and to develop confidence on the police system.He wanted the people to co-operate with the police and to inform to the police if they found anything suspicious or any movement of anti-social elements in their areas immediately.He assured that the informers names and phone numbers will not be revealed.
