Speaking at a one-day training programme on utilisation of technology by police reception vertical staff at district police office in Nirmal on Friday, the SP said the reception staff in police stations should play a crucial role and should treat the petitioners respectfully, should listen to their problems carefully, and must develop confidence among them on police system.

People should feel that a reception centre in police station is like a help centre and the staff should work in coordination with other police officials. The cops told to register the petitions online immediately.

Reception centre in-charge Srinivas, IT core department in-charge SK Ali, reception staff and others were present at the meeting.
