Kovvuru DSP K Rajeswara Reddy has released the list of 30 women chain snatchers, who are involved in the snatching in and surrounding areas of Tanuku town.
West Godavari: Kovvuru DSP K Rajeswara Reddy has released the list of 30 women chain snatchers, who are involved in the snatching in and surrounding areas of Tanuku town.
He alerted the passengers to be cautious and inform the police if they notice any of the women on the list. As part of the inspection, DSP has visited Peravali police station on Friday.
Speaking to media on the occasion, He said that the women thieves would get into crowded buses, autos and snatch the ornament from the other ladies necks. He also warned that these thieves would also attack in isolated places.
He added that many precautionary measures have been taken for the prevention of accidents on the national high way, and urged the commuters to cooperate with the police.
DSP Rajeswara Reddy noted that the speed control stoppers had been installed at every village on the national high way, by which the accidents rate has come down. He said the two-wheelers must wear the helmet, if not they have to pay heavy fine's.
On the inspection of Peravali PS, DSP has expressed satisfactory over the maintenance of the records and performance of the staff. Tanuku CI Chaitanya Krishna, SI YB Kiran Kumar, and other staff were present in the program.
