Yes, it's true!!! Tollywood's ace actor Vijay Devarakonda is all set to lock his horns with the legendary boxer Mike Tyson. This iconic boxer is making his debut in the showbiz world with this most-awaited sports drama. Vijay Devarakonda unveiled a blockbuster update from his movie as promised and surprised & stunned all his fans with this great news.
Off late, this Arjun Reddy actor took to his Twitter page and dropped a video showcasing the introduction snippet of Boxing legend Mike Tyson!
Going with the poster, it has half face of Vijay Devarakonda and half the face of Mike Tyson! Both looked awesome in the intense expressions and raised the expectations on the movie.
Here is the Liger: Mike Tyson announcement video… The former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson is playing a cameo role in the Liger movie and is all set to lock horns with Vijay in the boxing ring. Going with the video, they introduced Mike Tyson and showcased various pics of this legendary boxer. Sharing the video, Vijay also wrote, "We promised you Madness! The Puri Jagannadh's directorial becomes Vijay Devarakonda's tenth film and Puri's 37th project. This movie is being produced by Puri Jagannadh, Charmme, Apoorva Mehta and Karan Johar under the Dharma Productions, Puri Connects banners. Vijay will essay the role of a boxer and underwent martial arts training in Thailand. Ananya Pandey will be seen as the lead actress in this sports drama. Ramya Krishnan and Ronit Roy and roped in to play the prominent roles in this movie while Mani Sharma is all set to score the tunes. Well, Vijay's personal trainer Kuldip Sethi once said that VD will be seen just like a monster, beast and never before on-screen. He will essay the role of an MMA fighter.
The release date of this sports drama is not yet announced and it is postponed due to Covid-19. Liger movie is being made in 5 languages Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam and will be released worldwide amid high expectations in the theatres! Presently, the shooting is going on in Goa and the schedule will wrap up on 30th September. Soon, the team will head to international locations to wrap up the entire shooting of the movie!
