CTET 2019 was conducted in 110 cities across India on December 8

The Central Board of Education (CBSE) held the Common Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 8th December.

CTET 2019 was conducted in 110 cities across India on December 8. This year more than 28 lakh candidates appeared for the CTET December exam.

According to the latest report, CBSE will release a public notice about answer key release on the official website ctet.nic.in soon. From the official website, candidates can download the response sheet and answer key.

The Candidates can also seek a photocopy of their OMR Sheet of CTET along with a calculation sheet by paying a fee of Rs.500 per OMR, by way of Demand Draft in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education drawn on any Nationalized Bank and payable at Delhi.

The CTET examination was held for two papers. The duration of both the papers was of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

- Paper 1 was for candidates who intend to teach the primary classes from grade 1 to 5.

- Paper 2 was for candidates who intend to teach the higher classes from grade 5 to 8.

- Both papers were objective type and were conducted in OMR-based mode.

Know-How to check CBSE CTET 2019 answer keys

1. Go to the official website of CBSE CTET, ctet.nic.in

2. On the homepage, click on the link that reads "CBSE CTET 2019 answer keys'

3. Enter CTET Roll Number and Date of Birth

4. Once you click on the link, the answer keys will be displayed on the screen

5. Download the OMR sheet and the answer key

Clearing CTET is a must for a person to be eligible for the post of a teacher for class I to VIII in different government schools. Some private schools also prefer to make CTET qualification compulsory for their teachers.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) has assigned the responsibility of conducting the CTET to the CBSE.

The CTET is conducted twice in a year. In July, more than 20 lakh candidates appeared for the CBSE CTET 2019 exam which was organised in 100 cities across the country.
