Sydney: Extraordinary footage captures the moment an unarmed hero tackled a rifle-wielding gunman while another shooter continued firing from a Bondi bridge. Chaos ensued at the Bondi Beach in Sydney as the twogunmen opened fire. Amid this, the blue-shirted man comes from behind, throws his arms around the shooter, grappling with him as he attempts to grab the firearm. This daring unarmed bystander pinned down the gunman, who was hiding behind a tree, and aimed the rifle back at him.

The bravery was caught on camera, the video of which is now viral. The 15-second video shows the unarmed man hiding behind parked cars. He runs towards the gunmen from the back, holds him from the neck, and snatches away his rifle. The gunman falls flat on the ground as the good Samaritan points the gun back at him. The person recording the vision gasps and exclaims "oh my god" as the man in the blue shirt pulls the weapon out of the shooter's hands and pushes the gunman to the floor. The blue-shirted man advances on the now disarmed shooter with the gun pointed in his direction. The shooter scrambles to his feet and starts to walk away, turning back to look briefly at the blue-shirted man who is still pointing the gun at him. The shooter appears to be wearing some kind of vest and a bag looped over his shoulders. Twelve people, including a man believed to be one of the shooters, have been killed in the mass shooting. The second alleged shooter is in a critical condition.
