The institute is dedicated to serving the packaging industry to achieve excellence in packaging through its diversified activities like testing and quality evaluation of packaging materials and packages, training and education, consultancy services, excellence in packaging award, national and international exhibitions which encompass the entire spectrum of packaging.
We are operating all the activities from head office in Mumbai. The institute has its branch offices at Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Benguluru.
The main objective of the institute is to promote and make an awareness of packaging technology across the nation and also to encourage the export market by way of innovative package design and development through education and research.
Packaging plays a significant role in the economic growth of the country. There is a great demand for innovations in packaging in order to meet the requirement of the user industries. At the same time, demand for packaging professionals is also growing continuously.
Packaging is one of the most dynamic fields and is having technical and commercial trends. This trend needs to be globally identified, studied and exploited to survive in the global market. Education of packaging has been recently included as a subject in science and technology and the demand of packaging education is growing continuously in the job market.
IIP is a platform through which students can get the packaging education and make their career very lucrative and settle in their professional life very comfortably. IIP is offering two years PG Programme in Packaging Technology for the Graduate Students (B.Tech, BE, B.Sc, B.Pharma) in the field of engineering, food science, pure Science, pharmaceutical, agricultural science, printing technology subjects.
