Karimnagar: Sushrutha Cancer Hospital, which is being patronized by ‘Sankshema Charitable Trust’, introduced ‘Varian Clinac Medical Linear Accelerator Linac 6EX Radio Therapy Unit’, today for the benefit of public. This new equipment built with the state-of-the-art technology will help in curing the critical cancer-affected patients. It is for the first time that the north Telangana region has seen the emergence of a new technology.

Narrating the benefits of new Therapy, Sushrutha Hospital’s Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), Mubbashair Azam said that the patient will not have any difficulty in coping with the high radio therapy treatment. With the new radio treatment available at Karimnagar itself, patients from the city as well as from the neighbouring districts-Warangal, Adilabad and Nizamabad- need not go all the way to Hyderabad to undergo radio therapy treatment. The Sushrutha Hospital, which is located on the outskirts of the Bommakal bypass road, has been engaged in providing qualitative medical services for the last 18 years. Patients who are covered under ‘Arogya Scheme’ are also being treated at Susrutha Hospital.

On the top of it, patients at Susrutha Hospital are provided with top class treatment at lesser cost. Susrutha Cancer Hospital Chairman Dr.Murali Manohar, Sankshema Board Member Kasuganti Lakshman Kumar, along with the Charitable Trust member K.Haritha, attended the inaugural programme of the unit.
