Karimnagar: Around 5ooo students took out a rally by displaying a 2 km long national flag on the eve of Independence Day at Sultanabad town in Karimnagar district on Wednesday. The event was jointly organised by Police, Private Educational Institutions Association and Youth Organisations.
Peddapalli DSP Venugopala Rao unveiled the mammoth national flag and flagged off the rally. The students from different schools and colleges walked on the Rajiv Rahadari by holding the flag. Large number of people also participated in the rally. CI Karunakar, SI Jagadish, Chairman of Srivani Educational Institutions Regulapalli Vijaya Kumar and others were present.
