Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that the opposition party magazines are campaigning to create misconceptions about the comprehensive survey.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that the opposition party magazines are campaigning to create misconceptions about the comprehensive survey. Jagan Reddy held a review at his camp office on Tuesday on the 'permanent land rights-land protection' program. Revenue Minister Dharmana Krishnadas, chief secretary Nilam Sawhney CCLA Neerab Kumar Prasad and Chief Advisor to the Chief Minister Ajay Kallam were present. Officials explained to the Chief Minister that the Survey of India is giving training on land survey. Each zone will have a drone team, a data processing team and a reserve team. Officials said 9400 surveyors have been trained and the rest will be completed. It was revealed that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be signed with Survey of India tomorrow on Wednesday.
CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy directed that once the survey is completed in a village and the maps are ready, land registration services should be available at the same village secretariat. He said that any changes should be made in the village secretariat and mobile tribunals should be set up to resolve land disputes. The CM suggested that all facilities including vehicles required for this should be set up.
CM Jagan said that the comprehensive land survey is good for the people. However, we are seeing instances of poisonous propaganda being carried out to provoke doubts among the people and disrupt the program. Accurate information on the comprehensive survey should be made available to the public. "Some journals (opposition party official journals) are writing to mislead on the comprehensive survey; be wary of that false information and propaganda," CM said. He directed the officials to explain to the public what kind of good is happening through a comprehensive survey and provide good training and orientation to the staff participating in the comprehensive survey. He said that once the survey is completed, the records should be stored in such a way that no one else can tamper with them.
The CM directed to set up a new college for survey training. Want to set up on an area of at least 50 acres. CM YS Jagan directed that the construction of the college should also take place in the context of a comprehensive survey.
