Vijayawada: The government of Andhra Pradesh recognised 34 years of tireless services of Dr M Nalini, principal of Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala (Degree) and awarded with State Best Teacher Award.

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu gave the award to Dr Nalini on Teachers Day.

She received many awards and rewards in her career for her service. She worked as HoD English and rendering services as principal of the college.

She published 15 papers for international and national seminars. She presented 12 papers at international seminars and 48 at national seminars.

She published 3 books and acted as resource person and chairman at several state and national seminars.

She gave guest lecturers and conducted workshops on communication skills, personality development and soft skills to transform the students into wholesome personalities.

The college secretary, Siddhartha Academy P Lakshman Rao, joint secretary and convener N Lalitha Prasad, director Dr T Vijayalakshmi, teaching faculty and others congratulated Dr Nalini on the achievement.
