sjghdghKurnool: The family members of Chinna Somanna, CEO of Krishnagiri Cooperative Society staged a protest demonstration here on Sunday demanding the police to reveal information regarding the whereabouts of the missing CEO. Several people's organizations had also supported the family members in this regard. Varalakshmi, wife of Chinna Somanna, took exception to the police statement that the family members were not cooperating with them in investigating the case. She recalled that the police filed the case of missing though she clearly told them that Cherukulapadu Narayana Reddy kidnapped her husband. She said that she had given the photograph of her husband which was with them but it was not true that she had given the police the very old photograph. Though the police told the media that they had found the cellular phone of her husband, the family members were not informed any information regarding that. She refuted the allegation that she was politicisng the issue and alleged that the police were trying to mislead the case. Varalakshmi's sister's husband Sreeramulu clarified that he had withdrawn Rs. 40,000 from the ATM to pay fee for the daughter of Somanna. Praja Sangham leader Seshu Phani said that the police had miserably failed to solve the case. He alleged that SP Chandrasekhar Reddy has been trying to threaten the backward classes leaders to cover their failure. He said that the murder politics of Narayana Reddy was well known to all and the police are not investigating into his misdeeds. He said that they were going to lodge a complaint with the Human Rights Commission against the SP for his threatening remarks against the BC leaders.
