CM Jagan started the works of the houses to be constructed in the first installment. Speaking on the occasion, CM Jagan said that the state is celebrating the with the distribution of house site pattas. "We are distributing house site to 30.75 lakh people across the state. In the first phase, we are constructing 15.60 lakh houses. We are giving a plot of land worth Rs 7 lakh to beneficiaries in Srikalahasti," Jagan said.

"We are providing cash directly to women through schemes like Amma Vodi, Cheyuta and Vasati Divena and depositing cash directly to all women accounts without any corruption," CM Jagan added. He also said that the distribution of title deeds of the houses will be a continuous process and assured of providing infrastructure including drinking water, drainage and electricity. "We will set up parks, anganwadis, village clinics and RBKs depending on the layout area. The area has been increased from 224 square feet to 340 square feet," Jagan said. The chief minister further said that they offer 300 square feet Tidco homes for just one rupee and opined that government is spending over Rs 9,000 crore to complete TIDCO houses, " he said.

CM Jagan said that there are three options for building houses. In the first option, we will give the construction materials and labour charges to the beneficiaries while in the second option, we will pay the construction expenses based on the progress of the building and in the third option, the government will build the house entirely and provide it to the beneficiaries. We want to register the house in the name of the beneficiaries. "At present, only 'D' pattas are being given to the beneficiaries and all the rights will be given to the beneficiaries once the legal implications are removed," Jagan assured.

CM YS Jagan alleged that Chandrababu of moving the court upon Knowing that the house deeds would be distributed on December 25 and brought stay on the scheme. CM Jagan clarified that the houses would be distributed to all the beneficiaries once the legal issues are resolved.
