Dodla to oversee lifting of piled-up garbage on Friday morning

Allwyn Colony: Local corporator Dodla Venkatesh Goud said here on Thursday that the inmates of houses in PJR Nagar were falling sick because of dumping of garbage in the centre of every two blocks in the colony.

Speaking after undertaking a 'padayatra' in the Allwyn Colony division, he advised residents not to dump garbage outside their houses 'as it would amount to inviting diseases'. This, Goud, stated was 'unfortunate,' and pointed out that this garbage scenario was prevailing in every block of the division.

The corporator informed the residents that he would oversee lifting of the piled-up garbage at the centre of the two blocks by the sanitation staff using machines on Friday morning. Among those who accompanied Goud during the padayatra were AE Subash, Works Inspector Mahadev, Ward Member Kasinath Yadav, TRS leaders J Ganesh, B Kishan, Vasu, Yadagiri, Balaswamy, Chinna, Munna, Durgesh, Madhulata.
